CAPTURING THE COMPLETED ANSWER SHEETS FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES

Enter the weights allocated on the members original answer sheet for the particular specialized area into this facility. In all those cases where no weights were allocated to the particular competency by the particular JPI committee member, enter a weight of 1.

Once you have entered the weights allocated from both the JPI Shortened and the particular specialized area (if any in the latter case) into the system from the first answer sheet, repeat the process to enter the weights from the other answer sheets of the JPI committee.

That completes the process of horizontalization (Step 1 of Job-profiling).

The final step now is to print the job profile.

Click Reports >> Listings >>Listing of dimensional descriptions (Basic Job Profile) Select the Job in question from the Selection table now displayed. Click OK into Enter Parameter Values. If there are more than one Dimension Groups in the Parameter Fields window, select the relevant one.

From Discrete Value select: either:

(a) ALL of both the basic and the specialized profile are required;

(b) NORMAL if only the basic profile is required;

(c) SPECIALIZED if only the specialized profile is required. Click OK.
